Sampark December 2009: Editorial

To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven: A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck what is planted (Ecclesiastes 3:1, 2).

To every day has been granted 24 hours and to every year 12 months. Now this year has come to the end of its allotted time, and like all the years preceding it, this year too will be buried in the graveyard of history for ever. Similarly this earth too has an allotted time span. The moment that time period is completed; this earth too will not remain. When Jesus was on this earth, He too was given a certain time for His ministry. Your birth had its time and your death also has its time. You and I exist within the boundaries of time. The important question is, how do we utilize this allocated time? Time is precious and there is none who is rich enough in this world to buy it back.

In this year, many have wrapped their loved ones in a white sheet, and bid them final farewell; others are waiting in line for their time to be over in this year. In the days ahead, as has happened in the past, this world will not change for the better; rather, it will only change for the worse; irrespective of how many ‘Best Wishes’ you may exchange for the coming New Year. I assure you, if we ourselves will not change, our circumstances will not change either.

People often believe in vengeance and in God as a God of vengeance, waiting to come down heavily on the transgressors. But actually God is a God of mercy – had He taken an account of my sins, I wouldn’t have been here to write this. This yearning for vengeance fills them with a rage. An intense rage drives away the pretensions put up because of a person’s thinking, reasoning and conscience, revealing his true self.

A police constable was walking down a lane when a brick fell from a house under-construction. He narrowly escaped serious injury. Fuming with rage he picked up the brick, stormed into the house and bounded up the stairs; determined to break the brick on the head of him who had let the brick fall. He had just reached the top of the stairs, when the Head Constable resting there on a cot called out “Who is the fool charging up the stairs and without asking permission to enter?” Seeing the Head Constable, this constable’s anger immediately flew away, with a meek expression on his face and a humble voice he answered, “Sir, sorry to disturb you, actually this brick had fallen down and I just came up to return it.” Similarly, we are not really humble from within, but the humility we put up on the outside is actually due to some compulsion.

Our temperaments crave for revenge. For so many things our desire is to “teach him a lesson once.” But fears suppress our anger, and prevent us from doing something wrong. The holding back is not because of fear of God but because of the fear of Police, Law, punishment and society.

Look with me at Luke 9:54-56. I am paraphrasing the conversation that happened and is recorded in this portion: The disciples said to Jesus “Lord if you permit, we will call fire from heaven to consume these Samaritans and teach them a lesson.” But the Lord said, “You do not know of what Spirit you are. Does Spirit of God want to destroy anyone? Does He want to take revenge on anyone? It maybe that we too are those who believe in a God of Revenge, and not in the God of Mercy and Forgiveness. It is not easy to forgive someone. Forgiveness merely in words is not enough; such forgiveness is futile. True comes from the heart.

Are you filled with antagonism against anybody, and desire that the Lord teach that person a lesson? Listen to what the Lord says about those who were not even worthy of forgiveness – “Father forgive them for they do not know what they do.” (Luke23:34). The Lord said this for those who were not even seeking His forgiveness, rather were mocking Him at the instance when He was praying for them; yet from the cross, in His agony, He desired mercy for the very ones who had brought Him to that state. This is the work of God’s Spirit.

In Hebrews 12:24 it is written, “…that speaks better things than the blood of Abel.” What did Abel’s blood say? In Genesis 4:10 is written, “The voice of your brother's blood cries out to Me from the ground.” It was revenge that Abel’s blood was crying out to the Lord for. Only the blood of Jesus cries out even today “Father forgive them.” He wants to give forgiveness not chastisement.

If Jesus’ Spirit is within me, then why not His nature? Having come to the Lord Jesus, if I still harbor desires for revenge, my submission to the Lord is meaningless. If you are filled with bitterness for somebody, confess it to the Lord and ask Him to take it out of you. Once you are delivered from this bitterness and anger, then this New Year will truly be the year that will renew everything for you.

Not just from God, you have to also seek forgiveness from the one against whom your heart is bitter; whether it is your spouse, or some brother or sister in the Assembly. Your greatness is in your taking the first step to ask for forgiveness. If the other person happens to ask forgiveness first and you then just respond by saying “you too please forgive me”; that will be merely fulfilling a formality, and he would have wrested the initiative from you. Time does not wait for anybody, neither should you wait for “an appropriate time, lest in prevaricating the time and year slips away.

The Lord has given you freedom and He respects it too. Therefore He places two things before you today – a blessing and a curse, and then lovingly, He counsels to choose the blessing (Deuteronomy 30:19).

He desires that “…go and first be reconciled to your brother” (Matthew 5:24). How will you react to God’s counsel? What will you do today? Will you ignore God’s call to you?

Sampark May 2009: From a handful of dust

My name is Phillip Ratnam. I was born in a family that loved God. In the family, our father, mother, four brothers and a sister always gathered together for family prayers. Father was constantly involved in serving the Lord and was often called to pray for the sick and demon possessed. So far as serving the heavenly master was concerned, he never missed an opportunity, day or night. He came from a poor family, therefore was accustomed to travelling long distances by a cycle or in a bus.

I was the youngest in my family. Just 7 days before my 13th birthday, my father left for his heavenly abode, though he is still alive for us even today. Though I was brought up in such a devout family, my heart started to go back into the world. The Word of God held a great appeal for me till I was about 12 years of age, but after my father passed away, except for my sister, the rest of my family stopped going to God’s House for worship.

Having been brought up in a good believer’s family, I was under constant protection, as if by a shield around me. My world was my home, school and friends. Though I played with the children in my neighborhood, I could not bring myself to behave like them. I could not abuse like them, could not brawl like them, could not cheat like them nor be like them. I knew all the cuss words but could not open my mouth to articulate them. I knew all the wicked things but could not do them. I all the time felt a power holding me back from wickedness.

One day I decided for myself that I no longer need God in my life, I can well take care of myself. Since I considered myself to be more intelligent than others, I thought myself to be capable of facing all situations and circumstances also. From that day I stopped reading the Bible and saying my prayers, and gradually my affection for God started to fade away from my life, and after a time died within me. Now I too had become like any other person who did not depend upon God. I now felt free to do as I desired. Only my elder sister continued faithfully with the Lord all these years. She alone would go for Sunday worship, pray and read God’s Word. She is the same even today and is married to a good believer.

To meet the family needs, I and my elder brother started to work at a young age. I was only 18 years old then. Now as I look back and think upon those things, I am surprised that though I had no educational qualification or training at that time, yet wherever I went and in all that I did, success went ahead of me. I used to think that my life is okay, but now I realize that my life had deviated away from the way of truth into a way of foolishness. I had developed a craving for acquiring more and more, and seeking satisfaction in the world. Because of these things, unknowingly a belief had taken root within me that as long as I hurt no one and broke no laws or atleast didn’t get caught for breaking any law, everything is okay. There is only one life so enjoy it as long as you can. Till those who are with you remain in agreement with you, all is fine. Life went on, my habits deteriorated, but for me that was enjoyment. My family had no idea about all this. For my mother, my family and people around me I was a very nice and cultured person. I developed a double personality, one to please others and the other to please myself. As time passed I became an expert at switching personalities to suit the occasion.

There came a time when I got involved with a small gang that was carrying out its nefarious activity in the small neighborhoods, localities and college. There developed enmity with another gang and we started to keep knives and switchblades with us. Some of my friends, to throw their weight around, would at times also use those switchblades. Our gang got caught in a case of knifing someone, I was fortunate that on that evening I was not with them. Three of my close friends were caught for ‘attempt to murder’ and sent to Tihar Jail, though they were the sons of highly placed governmental officers. Fortunately, their victim did not die and so my friends could come out on bail; but the case registered against them carried on for 20 years. Gradually my conscience was dying and desire for heinous sins was increasing within me. My friendship increased with those who were involved in all kind of wicked things. There was nobody to keep me in control. I would return home late, leave early morning and at times not return home at all on Sundays.

My elder sister, who continued to love the Lord, would come from Switzerland to stay with us in her vacations and stay for some months. When she came, because of her pious life, a peculiar fear would engulf me and my evil deeds would come to halt. During her stay we would have family prayer morning and evening in our house. She would scold us for not persevering in honoring the Lord. For me Sunday was a day of making merry, going to movies and roaming with friends. But I saw that for my sister, who would usually be with us in the winter months, even if it was a foggy morning, she would still go to God’s house for worship, even alone, in a bus. To keep her happy I would accompany her.

Once, on a Sunday in December 1992, I was in the house of God, and like I always did, was sitting outside the main hall in the courtyard where mothers with small children sat. A speaker had been placed in the courtyard for them so that they too could listen to the messages and preaching going on inside. That day too, the preacher was preaching and as I always did, I was not paying any attention to the sermon. Suddenly, very clearly, the preacher said a sentence in his message “you have sinned”. This hit my heart and I immediately said to myself “so what”? This was not because I was not a sinner but because I did not consider sin to be sin. I suppressed that voice at that time but the sentence “you are a sinner” continued to ring in my ears.

One day I was passing through a market and was attracted by a book having a very beautiful cover in the shop’s window. That was a Christian bookstore and that book was titled “Through the Bible in 365 days”. I was attracted not by the contents but by the cover of the book. I went into the shop and bought it. After returning home I wanted to read it but this seemed an irony since now I felt ashamed to read the Bible. My conscience was pricking me that a person like me wanted to read the Bible? But I took courage, hid and took the Bible to the rooftop, locked the door and started to read. As I read, a strange tranquility descended upon me and it seemed as if every word was speaking to me. Whenever I would read it, a wonderful peace would engulf me. Though I did not understand all that I read, but within my heart I had a firm belief that every single word written in it, from Genesis to Revelation, was absolutely true. I started to like it very much and was always curious to know what would happen next. The Spirit of God was speaking to me continuously. Initially I did not realize that God talks in this manner too. I used to think that it is my heart that first causes me to sin then urges me to read the Bible. Whenever I would read the Bible, I felt as if somebody was explaining it to me in very pleasant words. My love for the Bible continued to increase and I started to spend more time at home and distance myself from my friends.

God’s Spirit had started to work in me since May 1993. He continued to change me, renew me and bring me into the realization of the Truth. I had read the Bible from Genesis to Acts of the Apostles till this time. My heart had also very clearly come to know and accept who is the creator and the possessor of this creation, who is Jesus, why man sinned, who is Satan, what is God’s will and who has been sustaining this creation to date.

Now I was free from the fear of Satan and the powers of darkness and had developed a reverence and awe for the God of the Bible. Now my question was not who can prove me to be a sinner? Since in the presence of such a magnificent creator I lay completely exposed. Rather, my question was why does this wonderful God who could bring into existence the sun, moon and stars by just saying so, have such a deep interest in mea foolish and good for nothing sinner? A person like me would be the object of ridicule and shame even in heaven. Though I did not get an immediate answer to my question, but through out the time that I spent to know about this omnipotent God, I never found myself to be scared of Him; instead I was attracted to Him all the more and the revelations He gave me dispelled all my doubts.

One day my eyes fell upon Romans 5:8 and that was when I understood why God cares for this man made from a handful of dust. It is written in Romans 5:8 “But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” I could not read any further, I was heart-broken. I became very emotional and felt greatly burdened in my heart that the omnipotent God loved me so much that He stooped down, sacrificed Himself as a sin offering and died for me. I felt the love of God and started to weep with tears. I felt as if the Lord is asking me “If you were to leave the world today, where would you be?” My answer was “Hell”. I again heard His voice “Where do you want to go?” I said “Lord nobody wants to go to hell; everybody wants to go to heaven.” He again asked “Where do you want to go?” I said “Heaven”. I then heard Him say “Believe in my son Jesus who gave His life on the cross for you and be cleansed by His blood.” Immediately I gave my heart to the Lord and prayed a small prayer that may have taken me around 30 seconds to pray. You may possibly consider the prayer that I prayed to be silly. I said to the Lord “O Lord I want to go to heaven but my sins are numerous and I don’t know if you will forgive all my sins. If you can, then I want to forget my past and start a new life. I want to start a new life, but can I be delivered from 26 years of sin and wickedness and made new? Nevertheless I completely surrender my life to you and believe that Lord Jesus shed His blood and gave His life for me on the cross. Though He was sinless, He became a ‘sin offering’ for me and to make me righteous He rose again from the dead. So if possible, have mercy on me and accept this prayer of an unworthy person.”

As soon as I completed this prayer, I felt so light hearted that I cannot describe it. A very old and heavy weight was removed from me. As soon as I opened my eyes I felt that I was a new man. A wonderful joy bubbled from within me; my heart was full of happiness. I immediately went to the next room and told my mother and my sister “I am Born Again.” Whenever I met other people, I would say the same thing to them I was not concerned whether they understood it or not. I started to tell everybody that my sins are forgiven. Seeing my wonderful joy other believers were also impressed.

Since I was born again I had joy unspeakable flowing from within and I would be very pleasant and happy at all times. I started to enjoy reading the Bible and hear God's voice as if a friend is talking sitting next to me, I could start believing every word that I read and had absolutely no doubt however impossible things I read, God started to do wonderful works in my life. One of my first fears was my old friends and how to face them. I was thinking God what should I tell these people, they will never believe that a person who fights so much, who abuses so profusely, who is so violent can suddenly become so sober and talk about God. A christian who never went to church all his sensible life suddenly talks about Bible, Church and now I started going for Bible studies all 7 days day of the week to a Bible teacher whom God so graciously provided, Bro. John Kumar. But something very strange started to happen. Everyday my friends used to come in their motor cycles and scooters and start honking under my house and then I used to leave. But the evening came after I was born again and my fears started to increase and that day nobody came honking. It was unbelievable and strange. It was truly a miracle that not one single friend turned that day. I later learnt that God turns the hearts of men and kings in Proverbs and that is what happened. All my friends with whom I was afraid to go completely forgot about me for almost a year by which time I really grew much strong in faith and love of the Lord and when I met one of them he said Philip I am extremely sorry that I got very busy and could hardly meet you, I was amazed and praised God that it was His doing so I realized that He loves me so much that even my desires and fears of my heart he reads and works for my good and protects me. There are hundreds of such examples by which I learnt God's presence in my life. There are many miracles he did and it is now 16 years, I am married, with three children and I have seen many ups and downs in life but not one single millisecond of time can I say that God had failed in his love or faithfulness or goodness or kindness. He is the same God, I have failed in walking faithfully to his goodness, but He has been my God, Savior, Lord, Father, Friend and King for all situations. I praise God for coming into my life and filling my meaningless life with full of light, life and glorious hope.

Dear reader, if a crooked and hopeless person like me received eternal life and joy unspeakable, you can also receive this eternal life by praying to Lord Jesus Christ now and asking him to come into your life now. You should believe that Jesus Christ died for us and was buried and came back to life for the sake of all those who received this truth. Believe in the name of Jesus and receive eternal life, peace, and joy and much more.

Sampark May 2009: Seeking the Light of Life

I hereby certify that Honorable divine being of bliss, resident of heaven, is the true and only God and the owner of the entire creation.”

Does God ever need such a certificate of authentication? If I deny His existence, will it in any way impinge on His existence? Try to understand this with and example: Can a destitute orphan child who has never seen or known about his parents, claim that nobody gave him birth, he just happened? But there are numerous silly people on this earth who claim that nobody created this universe, it just ‘happened’. God’s Word calls them ‘fools’ – Psalm 53:1.

Because I do nor believe in religion does not mean that I am an atheist. To believe in the existence of God, does one have to believe in a religion as well? God loves persons, not religion; He loves every person. For God, human beings are what matter not their religion. Our religions have alienated us from each other. Religion has become a burden on humanity, not allowing it to flourish. The reasoning power of mankind has become so tied down with the chains of religion that people fail to rise above their religions and rationalize. Suppose that two religions exist and proponents of both teach that only our religion is good and true, the other is false and bad; they teach arrogance, jealousy, vengeance towards the other religion, then how is one different from the other? Maybe they differ in their name, in their rituals and practices, but factually, at their core, they are just the same. Religion compels us to believe in and serve a dogma.

Religion merely provides a covering not character. One may follow any religion, Christian, Muslim, Sikh, Hindu or any other, but the person’s behavior and character remains more or less the same. They all do the same things e.g. lying, deceiving, greed, jealousy, antagonism, beating wives, harboring bad feelings etc. The deeds remain the same, only the names of their religions differ.

Our religions have become very cruel. They lack mercy, love, tolerance, humility in them. Instead, they are now full of hatred, vengeance, arrogance – that we are superior the others are inferior and contemptible. Followers of other religions are now regarded as enemies, not humans. He who does not believe in my religion cannot be religious. How narrow-minded is the belief that makes me treat followers of all other religions except mine as infidels. Man is not good or bad by the religion he follows, but by what he does.

We have wrecked havoc on the earth that we live upon. We are now on the verge of our destruction. There is no way out, ethics and earth are ready to perish. Vain arguments will be of no consequence and logic will prove to be futile for solutions. Yet we persist in a delusion, believing that we will never have to face the inevitable. Eventually we will have to face the bitter truth. The wickedness of this world has reached the limits of God’s forbearance.

If a rickshaw puller does not take bribes is it to be considered an act of honesty? This is merely his compulsion, since his work does not give him the opportunity to take a bribe. Similarly many are honest because of compulsions, since they have not got a chance to be dishonest. Can such people be considered honest? It is said that the rich exploit the poor. But the truth is far from this assertion. Just consider that if a stranger comes to a town does the rickshaw puller not charge twenty five instead of five? He does not miss a chance to extract the maximum he can. Similarly, rich or poor, given the chance will make the most of it and derive maximum benefit that he can in that situation.

This body of flesh will be mischievous, openly or surreptitiously. Whoever you may be, however you may appear from the outside, what matters is how you are on the inside? Wantonness is considered evil by everybody, but opportunity permitting, nobody misses out on deriving pleasure from it, overtly or covertly. When conscience departs, man comes to his most dangerous state. Today man is not troubled by his conscience therefore he has become so ghastly that he is the least bothered about killing his own children. Parents deliberately and willingly pay contract money to the doctors to have their unborn daughters killed within the womb, with not a shred of concern or conscience.

A father, on his death bed, wanted to share his life’s lesson with his son. He said to him, “Son I have learnt that you cannot buy happiness with money.” The son said, “Father, I also want to share something with you, there may or may not be another opportunity. What you are saying is correct. It is true that one cannot buy happiness with money, but having wealth one can atleast acquire the sorrows of his choice. Whether one lives in a hut or in a palace, sorrow and troubles are everywhere. So if one anyway has to suffer troubles, might as well suffer in a palace.” The father had no answer to his son’s contention. Silently he just kept looking at his son, wondering about his conduct, behavior and future.

There is difference in the thinking of the father and the son. The son does not agree with his father. There is discord in the family, just on seeing her husband’s face the wife starts loosing her cool. There may be everything in the house but peace and joy. There is a distance in the relationship of parents & children, husband & wife. Staying in the home has become oppressive. Relationships are no longer what they used to be. Fraternal feeling is turning cold; maintaining relationships has become farcical, now relationships are there just for name’s sake. These contrived associations have caused us to loose our peace, integrity, many friends and relations.

Adulterated and spurious goods valued at about 30,000 crores are said to be in the markets of our country. This is an age of bogus things, love is served with selfishness, and truth is mixed with falsity. Air, water, religion, everything is contaminated. Being humane has lost out to being rich.

Man has become so vain now-a-days that he boasts in even the evil he does, as if it were a good thing. Sample these commonly used expressions of boasting and try to think through the mentality they represent: “see how easily I fooled him”, “how slyly I conned him”, “there is none whom I haven’t used for selfish gain”. What do these sentences convey to you?

Man’s temperament has undergone a radical change. Today, he is governed only by selfish desires. He does not want to think beyond himself and his own. In this changing world, man too has changed and changed so much that it is difficult to consider him humane.

A deficiency in life now keeps pricking; despite all efforts, there is always a feeling that somehow there is something that could not be acquired. Having gained money, status and all that the world could offer, if happiness in life still eludes then of what value is the gain? Contentment and peace are nowhere to be seen. How does one surmount this?

If food has everything but salt,

It is worthless.

If life has everything but peace

It is worthless.

If home has everything but happiness

It is worthless.

If having read all this, there is no change in life

It is worthless.

Death has no ‘off days’. Every hour 1112, and every minute 18 persons are dying. If it is somebody’s turn today, it may be mine tomorrow and may be yours the day after tomorrow. Time does not standstill. The final destination of this body is the graveyard, nobody can take it beyond. Some ‘smart’ persons sardonically smile on hearing of life after death, as if something very foolish has been said. But the fact remains that there is a life after this life and a death after the death in this world. Your body will not go with you beyond this world, but all your sins surely will. Those very sins that have taken away your peace in this world will continue to torment you in the next world too.

Through sin is curse, not just upon man but upon the whole creation. The world is suffering the consequences of sin’s curse. It is sin that has wrecked havoc on man and made life hell, in this world as well as the next. No matter what religion you may follow, if sin is in your life, then its curse too is in your life. The consequences of your sin will not leave you even the next world.

Heaven does not have to be kept up in the firmament; it should be in our hearts. Heaven can come into your life, into your family. If you are living with sin you are living with hell. I am not talking of going into hell, for we start suffering in hell in this life itself. If you are living with your sins forgiven, you are living with heaven. Our sins ruin all our blessings, compelling us to live an arid and barren life.

Many of you who are reading these words would be those who have been defeated by self and circumstances. Many may have made futile attempts to improve themselves and their circumstances, and would now be left wondering what else is left to do? If you are worn-out by your deeds, by your own self, your habits, anger, smoking-drinking, family feuds, ailments of the body or mind and don’t know where to go and what to do, then believe me this message is for you. There is a solution for your problems and your discord.

This may be the last opportunity and the last message for you. While you have breath, you have hope, but no one knows when the last breath will be taken and life will be over. Maybe you have lost much – time, opportunities and blessings. Why and for what do you want to put off your decision now? It makes no difference what religion you profess to follow, or what is the count and severity of your sins. Lord Jesus has the ability to forgive all.

Man can leave everything, even this body will eventually be left, but sin and its curse no man can leave. Only the Lord Jesus can deliver you from sin and its sting. He has done all that was required for you to be delivered of your sin and its curse. Now you do not need to go anywhere or do anything for this. All that is required is to ask forgiveness of sins. From a true heart just pray a simple prayer “Lord Jesus have mercy on me – a sinner, and forgive my sins”.

Nietzsche was a famous philosopher and an atheist. He propounded an opinion that if anyone shows mercy or forgiveness towards another he is loosing his supremacy. In other words, if ‘justice’ were to show mercy, it will loose its capability of meting out justice. There came a time in his life when this philosopher became insane. The year Nietzsche died, Adolf Hitler was born. He too accepted the same philosophy. He despised others and insulted them. The weak, dependent, invalid, destitute and helpless he considered a burden on the nation. He wanted to eliminate this burden, and so he put into practice many schemes for this. Today Hitler is dead but his views persist. He believed that you need a staff to raise a flag. Similarly there are many today who, to keep their flags over their wives and children, use a staff.

But in Lord Jesus this is absolutely the other way round – mercy is essential to keep from punishment. There is only one way to escape from the penalty of sin – the way of mercy and forgiveness. Jesus made a way in which He emptied himself to save others. He gave His life for men, not for a religion. In His mercy, punishment is changed through forgiveness, and blessings take the place of curse. By giving His life on the cross He changed the chastisement of our sins into forgiveness. There is no need to ‘convert’ to the Christian religion to obtain this forgiveness. The Christian religion is a dogma not the absolute. The absolute is God. We are unable to love those who have hurt us, but Jesus loved even those who were not worthy of love.

The Jews considered Jesus to be against their religion, they felt that He is ruining their religion. But Jesus did not oppose their religion; He only opposed their hypocrisy, envying, hatred, vengeance and misleading people in the name of religion to serve their own ends. Jesus Himself was not a ‘christian’ and neither did he ever use this word. For 300 years after Him, there was nothing going by the name of ‘christian religion’. Jesus did not propound the ‘christian religion’, He taught the Way of Truth.

I want to pull you out of your reverie so that you can think correctly about yourself and take the right decision.

A young man aged 23 years, disgusted and beaten by his life desired death since he had no hopes left in life. Alone, in a room on the rooftop, on a hot night in May 1969, he fell on his knees. In a few minutes he came out absolutely transformed. How and what caused this miraculous transformation? A simple small prayer; yes, one sincere prayer coming from the depths of his heart – “O! Lord Jesus have mercy on me a sinner” that changed his whole life.

That young man of 23 is now an elderly man of 63 years and is writing these words for you. I am unable to pen my black deeds, such reprehensible deeds that society does not permit them to be written and I do not have the courage to write them either. At that time even I was unable to forgive myself, but my Lord within moments not only forgave all my sins but totally transformed me.

The same God is talking to you through these words. He can, and is willing to do the same for you too.

Why not call out to Him today – “O! Lord forgive me a sinner.”
